Carla Farley

Highly regarded by clients for her interpersonal and negotiation skills, Carla Farley is the Broker/Owner and President of Corban Realty, a full-service sales and property management brokerage. Carla has served San Diego for more than 26 years and advocates legislatively for homeowners everywhere.
Born and raised in San Diego, she began serving in leadership positions early on as president of Lincoln High School’s Junior Urban League. She has worked as a licensed vocational nurse, cardiologist administrator, and at a military communications center before entering the real estate field, which gave her the opportunity to manage her schedule to be
present for three school-age children at the time.
Carla has a passion for giving back, and believes we are all “blessed to be a blessing.” Even her brokerage’s name, Corban, means a “gift consecrated to God.” She is an instructor for the worldwide “Bethel Series” Christian leadership course, has been an instructor for the NAR Employer Assisted Housing Program and serves on the board of Rebuilding Together, Smart Coast California, and the Ambassadors Foundation. She is a REALTOR® Key Contact for Assemblywoman Dr. Shirley Weber, Regional Representative of Housing Opportunities with C.A.R., and was SDAR’s 2015 Volunteer of the Year. In addition, for SDAR, she has led the Government Affairs and Housing Opportunities committees, and is a Director for the California and National Association of REALTORS®.
Carla is part of a proud military tradition, which reflects her dedication to helping military families attain the American dream of homeownership. Her husband Michael served in the Navy, and of their three grown sons, one served as a Marine, one entered into the field of Microbiology, and the other served in the Army. Among the many committees, task forces and boards she currently sits on, she attributes many of her lessons and growth in real estate to her former broker and friends Ulysses Lepe and Donna Shiepe.
