Investor/rental buyers declined
With the eviction moratorium in place through at least the end of January 2021, real estate investors have been holding off on buying until there is more clarity to the rental housing market. Results from the C.A.R.’s 2020 Annual Housing Market Survey show that there were fewer investors purchasing rental properties this past summer. In fact, the share of homes bought by real estate investors hit the lowest level since 2001.
